Play the Board – playing with a hand using the cards on the table (community cards) and none of the individual cards (hole cards).

Pocket – The individual cards that are invisible to the other players (hole cards).

Pocket Pair – a pair formed with the two hole cards.

Post – posting a blind (small or big blind).

Pot-Limit – a variety of the poker game when the maximum bet that can be posted is indicated by the value of the pot at that moment.

Pot Odds – The amount of money of the pot compared to the sum that you have to pay in order to remain for the hand.

Pot principal – The initial realized pot. If one or more players enter all in, one or more secondary pots create for each player, depending on the chips that were bet in the game.

Quads – Four of a kind.

Rainbow – A flop that contains three different colors so that a flush cannot be realized. The rainbow can be complete tables of five cards where there are no three cards of the came color, making flush impossible to realize.

Raise – Increasing the value of the current bet.

Rake – An amount of money that is taken of the pot by the dealer. This is the casino’s tax for the offered game.

Raked hand - A Raked Hand happens when any player gets cards in ring game, a hadn that generates percentages. This constitutes a hand with percent even if the player withdraws before the flop.

Rank – The numeral value of a card. For example: 8, K

Rebuy – In case you lose a part of the chips or all of the chips you entered in the tournament with, you can rebuy them for a sum of money. Usually, the rebuy notion applies to live or online tournaments.

Ring Game – An ordinary poker game, unlike the tournament. “Live game” is also a common expression that is used, because the bets are based on real money, not on tournament chips.

River – The fifth and the last commune card at Holdem.

Royal Flush – It is the best possible hand at poker.
