Scare Card – card that can transform a very strong card into a valueless card.

Second Pair – a pair that uses the second of the flop card, as a rank.

Set – three pieces, 3 same ranked cards, when you have two of them in your hand and the third is on the table.

Short Stack – A very low number of chips in comparison with the other players at the table.

Showdown – the last phase of a poker game when the remaining players show their cards so they could find the winner of the pot.

Sit' n' go – A tournament that begins as soon as the necessary number of players for the beginning of the tournament is completed.

Slow Play – Playing a strong hard in a pasiv, tight style to encourage the other players not to fold during hand.

Small Blind – The smallest of the two forced bets (blinds), used at Holdem poker game. Usually, the small blind is half the big blind.

Split Pot – A pot that is shared by two or more players that have identical hands at showdown.

Stake – the amount pot.

Straight Flush – straight with cards of the same color.

Stud – The general term for poker games where players receive the first cards faced down, followed by a few faced up cards, where the cards are exclusively used by the player.

Suited – the beginning cards at Holdem that have the same color.
