In “Play Poker Like the Pros”, Phil Hellmuth, perhaps the greatest poker player so far, explains Texas Holdem game for everyone to understand. Everything is easy to read and to assimilate by a beginner player, as well as by more advanced players.
However, not only holdem is the subject of this book. There are chapters that are dedicated to Omaha, Seven card Stud, Razz games, and also a chapter that is dedicated to online poker game.
Although “Play poker like the pros” seems to be a book exclusively addressed to beginners, it is very useful for intermediary players that want to improve their game, as Phil Hellmuth’s advice is priceless.
Per ensemble, although I cannot totally agree with what Amarillo Slim Preston said, I recommend this book to all of those that want to improve their game style.
