Barry Greenstein is a famous pro poker player that was born in 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. He learned about poker since he was a little boy from his father and in 1991 he decided to only focus on poker instead of other occupations. Well known as the “Robin Hood of Poker”, Barry Greenstein participated at the first three editions of Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament and at all the four GSN events included in High Stakes Poker. He is much respected as a poker player, having won three WSOP bracelets and two champion titles at WPT.

What makes Barry Greenstein a very special player is the fact that he is able to play various types of games, from cash poker games to tournaments, as he always adapts easily to these game play styles. Both in 2003 and in 2004, Greenstein turned as the seventh place when it comes to the highest poker earnings, which proves that he was a constant tournament winner.

Besides playing as a pro, Greenstein also got involved in the collaboration with Doyle Brunson and wrote “Super System 2”. More than that, he also wrote a book on his own, “Ace on the river”, a book that teaches the players how to win money by playing poker.
