Poker StarsThe PokerStars United Kingdom and Ireland Poker Tour notched up another successful event this weekend when the Nottingham leg came to a close.

It was there that Andrew Couldridge from the UK beat his German opponent Oliver Schaffmann heads-up to a first place prize of £80,000 plus a seat worth £5,300 to EPT London later this year.

It all took place at the Dusk till Dawn card room where earlier in the week 650 players registered for yet another sell out stop on the tour’s inaugural season. Team PokerStars Pros Victoria Coren, JP Kelly and Julian Thew each played the event which had a combined prize pool of £325,000.

The tour now heads back across the Irish Sea to Kilarney in Ireland for the next leg, starting 24 June. For the full list of winners in Nottingham, go to the PokerStars Blog.
